Answer a few quick questions and we'll tell you exactly what system you need — and what it takes to install it at your home.
A soft water loop is a pre-installed pipe that creates a dedicated bypass specifically designed for a water softener to be connected to. Think of it like a power outlet waiting for an appliance to be plugged in.
Many homes in newer subdivisions have these installed during construction. It makes installing a water softener very straightforward — no extra plumbing work needed.
How to check: Look in your mechanical room or utility area — usually near your water heater. You're looking for a loop of pipe (usually ¾" copper or PEX) that comes out of the wall and turns back into the wall, often with shutoff valves on each side. If you're not sure, just select "Don't Know" and we'll figure it out together.
